Day twenty-three.
3 wishes.
Uno: I wish for success this school year. I reeeeally need to focus on school and my grades. My GPA is a 3.6, but I want it higher. If I want to get into grad school I better start working my patootie off.
Dos: I wish for happiness. I love being this happy, and I do not want it to end. =]
Tres: I wish that my dorm building would get wireless internet. boo-yah.
This just in...news flash...
I'm halfway moved back into the dorms! I have my closet organized, bed lofted, and a few random things set up. My dad is coming today to finish bringing my stuff (fridge, microwave, TV...) I'm SO excited for the rest of the staff members to get here and move in. I'm definitely not accustomed to having my own dorm room yet. It still feels kind of lonely. I'm hoping that changes with time. I know I'll have lots of people to keep me company, and I DO love having my own space...so this should be a pretty good year. Pictures are coming!
Stay tuned.

live n learn
Day-twenty two.
Something you've learned...
I've learned that having everything planned makes things go unplanned. (If that makes sense.) I'm SUCH a time efficient person, and I LOVE knowing what I'm going to be doing at all times. Recently though I've tried being more "go with the flow." & So far I like the balance I've had. I still plan things, but at the same time I'm more flexible and try not to block off time for things...and instead just let them happen.
I've also learned that if something is meant to be, it will find a way no matter what. Maybe it won't happen now...maybe it won't happen at all...maybe it will happen a few weeks, months, or even years down the road. This summer has proved to me plenty of good opportunities to dig a little deeper to find what I want in life.
I've learned that tough love isn't such a bad thing. It's only making me stronger. Like how my parents have been slightly ridiculous lately...but I'm only becoming a better person from it.

I confess.
Day 20: Confessions.
#1: I confess... I ate string cheese yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This isn't anything out of the ordinary for an ordinary person. You see, I don't like cheese and never ever eat it plain. I only like it on pizza, mac n cheese, and sometimes on sandwiches or burgers. This is a big accomplishment.
#2: I confess... I miss my phone charger. I left it in the college town 2 and a half hours away this weekend...and I'm suffering with my car charger.
#3: I confess...Today I took my brothers to the beach...My brother Josh is one of a kind. I was intrigued by his personality more than ever today. (I'll probably blog about him at a later date.)
#4: I confess... I have a lot of packing left. But it's all last minute stuff like pillows, make-up, and clothes. I hate packing last minute stuff.
#5: I confess... I feel bad for not being home enough lately, but I have lots of goodbyes before I leave.
#6: I confess... I haven't been this overall happy with life in a very long time.
#7: I confess... I flicked someone off out my window on the highway yesterday. They were so stoopid & shouldn't even be allowed to drive. HA... I guess that knock out #6, but really, it was just a brief upset. Other than that I've been pretty happy.
#8: I confess... I have realized once again through my friends and family how beautiful life really is. I'm so blessed to have these people in my life.
#9: I confess... I've been a textaholic for the past month. I went through over 9,000...& you know what? I don't feel bad one bit.
#10: I confess... I need to clean Judy's fish bowl. It is sooo raunchy. I just don't want to do it two days before we'll both move back to school. Sooo, she is going to swim in her filth for another two days. Sorry, Judes.
I think that's good for one day :)

hittin' easy street on mud tires.
This weekend:
Storyyyytime. AKA. Why I haven't blogged an acceptable amount in the past week.
Thursday:
I worked 8:30-4:30 at the insurance office. I ran a buttload of errands. (A buttload is 14 for any of you people who don't know this.) Then I went to my grandma's to visit...I kind of forgot she had prayer meeting that night. & I was nice and offered to go with her for once. We picked up this ADORABLE old couple (When I say old, I mean he was 92 and she was 91.) They were Bob and Virginia. Virginia can't really see, but is just a firecracker and so sweet. Bob is SO talkative and helps Virginia a lot. He told me how he reads her scriptures every morning so she knows what mass is going to be about, he got the door for her, and he helped her take her jacket off in church. Just effing CUTE. I want that when I'm old and wrinkly. After prayer meeting I went to Alissa's house. We had a good ol' fashon sleepover and stayed up until the wee hours being goofy.
Friday:
I worked 8:30-4:30 at the insurance company, my LAST day of work for the summer. Crazy, isn't it?! My boss, Gene, was so nice. He gave me my check early, with a bonus on it. AND surprised me with Dairy Queen. :) I then drove about 3 and a half hours NW of my town to visit my freshman room mate, Rachel. I kind of lost my voice from belting out tunes the entire way there. She showed me around her town and she threw a party at her house. Rachel and I tend to always get crazy together...(hence the sunscreen I squirted on her leg. bahaha, dirty?) I didn't know ANYONE there besides Rach...so it made for an interesting night. We had some drinks, played games, and sat around a fire. It was a good time.

Saturday:
We woke up at like 10am. We had "clean-up" duty from the night before. She has a small river like 2 miles from her house. We drove to there are went skinny dipping in the daylight. :) It was great fun. I left her town at 1:30pm to go to my college town. I had plans to hang out with a guy from school, Brayden, and my friend, Brittany. So when I got to my college town on I hung out with Brayden. We just hung out at his house for a bit, and then went to Erbs & Gerbs...I was so hungry. & I miss Erbs & Gerbs since I don't have one in my hometown. Then we went to the movie Horrible Bosses. GREAT movie, and pretty hilarious. We went for a walk through the park by campus...(one of my favorite places, ever.) We went to a party by campus...that was pretty fun, too. We ended up staying up until 5am talking, and watching the sunrise. It was SO much fun, and was even better than I anticipated.
Sunday:I went to Brittany's and hung out with her almost all day. We were suuper obnoxious and went to the beach by campus. Her house is so cute, and is perfect distance away from campus. We had such a good and much needed girl's night in. We watched a chick flick, made smoothies, dyed our hurr, and girl talked a ton. I can't wait to be moved in so I can hang with these people anytime.

Monday:
I went back home and had a movie night with Ethan, Dan, and Alissa. We watched Hall Pass. It was THEE funniest movie I've seen. Just great.
Soo, yeah. Overall GREAT weekend. Everything is just falling into place with school starting. I'm going to miss my friends, but I'm getting sick of being home.. just ready to go back.
Hope ya'll had a great weekend!

Bumped into you by happenstance; probably wouldn't even know who I am.
Day 19
Something you're looking forward to.
Moving back to college. I spent part of my weekend in the college town and had a BLAST. I can't wait to move in...and it's only 4 nights away. (Since I'm going to be an RA, I have 2 weeks of training...) School doesn't actually start until the 23rd. As I stated in a previous post, I miss SO much from that place. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends, hanging out with a certain someone, having my own room, being an RA, the feeling that I'm slowly accomplishing something, and just the overall away from home environment. I can't wait to see the new opportunities and what this school year brings.
